Men's Spirituality Group
The Men's Spirituality Group is a group of men from our cluster parishes of Holy Cross, St. John and St. Alphonsus that meets for prayer, bible study and continued learning to deepen our faith and relationship with God in a relaxed and spiritually renewing environment.
Beginning Monday September 19th, the men’s spirituality group will begin a bible study entitled The Eucharist in Scripture. We meet Monday evenings from 7:00-8:00pm at Holy Cross Wilmot.
“The biblical theme of meals is shared in faithful fellowship and in covenant relationship with God. Old Testament meals and promises provide a foundation for gospel meals with Jesus, culminating in the Last Supper as it is understood throughout the New Testament. Jesus’ Bread of Life discourse and the early Church’s practice of “breaking bread” are also explored.”
We will use the Little Rock Scripture series book of the same title, The Eucharist in Scripture by Clifford Yeary, which is available from Liturgical Press (Amazon is currently backordered until after we begin).
If you are not already a member of this group, you can register to join by filling out the form below or by adding your name to one of the forms provided at each worship site.
